Q&A: General Questions

  • In career coaching, the goal is to align inspiration and passions to career goals and strategies so you can bring about extraordinary and, most importantly, sustainable changes.

    Sustainable changes are a similar goal with leadership coaching — but instead of focusing on your career, we focus on your organizational impact.

  • If we can’t rely on our conscious logic or gut instinct, how do we move forward?

    You may want to work with me if:

    • You believe a positive, collaborative work culture will create better outcomes.

    • You believe empowering individuals to realize their full potential is key to success.

    • You believe unleashing “togetherness” will have a ripple effect on your organization and in the world.

    My work was designed to raise awareness of what’s going on inside your head or business. This makes it easier to understand your own thinking, goals, and mission statement, and therefore make more informed decisions.

  • It depends on how far you are in the process already. Normally, you can expect between 6 and 12 months. We’ll chat about your perfect number in our complementary call.

  • No two creatives are exactly alike — so why should their coaching packages be? I write a custom plan for everyone who work with me. Just book a time on my calendar and I can whip up a quote for you too!

  • Let me put it this way:

    I have 17+ years of experience in the HR world.

    I’m a Certified Transformational Coach, ICF Certified PCC, and a Certified Team Performance Coach (CTPC).

    I’ve worked in 42 countries and visited more than 70 while on tour with Cirque du Soleil.

    In my time as a coach and consultant I’ve helped hundreds of people and companies rediscover their mission so they can re-align themselves to their goals. I can make a difference for you, too.

  • At the end of our free exploratory call, we find a time slot that works for both our schedules. Then, I send over some resources on how to get prepared for the work we’ll be doing together and clarify what to expect, which will guide our next steps if we decide to start working together.

  • Of course! I have clients all over the globe. I usually travel for the initial intake, then workshop before conducting the rest of the program. From here, I use Zoom to connect with clients, but I’m open to using any platform of your choice.

 

Q&A: Alignment of Business and People Strategies

  • Good question!

    Let me answer it with another set of questions:

    • Do you see or hear repeatedly about blurred lines between roles and responsibilities? Does it create frustration?

    • Do you wonder if your team members are aware of their impact on the departmental and organizational goals?

    • Do you find your processes are over-complicated? Did they become this way to accommodate personalities, strengths and/or weaknesses?

    • Do you wonder if your ship is sailing in one solid direction? Or is it zigzagging without arriving at its destination?

    If you say ‘yes’ to any of these questions, your team is misaligned.

Q&A: Team Coaching

  • There is a world of difference between the two! But since team coaching is getting more attention these days, there’s a lot of confusion and misunderstanding around the terms.

    Team coaching provides a complete approach to improve team dynamics, team performance, and team relationships. This doesn’t happen overnight — our work together lasts several months. The goal is to enhance teamwork, build trust among team members, align the team, resolve conflicts, increase team awareness (that goes beyond each individual), and develop empathy and shared commitment.

    Team building activities are occasional interventions that complement team retreats and company-wide events such as all hands meetings. These are playful activities designed to help people learn about one another. Beyond just increasing your team’s awareness, you’re also charging each member with positive energy.

  • Not if the rest of the team operates amazingly together. You should address the problem with individual coaching, then re-assess the need for team coaching at a later date.

  • Even a high-performing team can benefit from team coaching. Even if they operate well without external support, imagine what they can achieve after going through coaching!
